The Harmatan Foundation
The Harmatan Foundation finances educational and medical projects, as well as water-well drillings in West Africa. The Harmattan Foundation especially focuses her efforts in the Northern part of the Republic of Ghana. For the aforementioned projects the Harmattan Foundation raises funds throughout Europe.
A word from the Chairman:
When I was visiting the North of Ghana in order to meet with family whom were temporarily there for a film project, I was confronted with extreme poverty, a lack of education infrastructure, water, and medical supplies. I decided then and there that something needed to be done. To date, there are forty-eight water wells, five schools, and two clinics built, as well as a few smaller projects that have been completed.
All the funds that is made available to the Harmattan Foundation, is directly invested into the on-going projects, without the deduction of any administrative cost of any kind. Through intensive control and guidance, donators assured that every single euro is actually contributed to the end-projects of the Harmattan Foundation. Hence not one penny is left unaccounted for.
